Creator of OpenLumin
Church Leader · Bible Researcher · Builder
I am a church leader within the Philippines General Council of the Assemblies of God (PGCAG), where I serve as a Liaison Officer for the Align Commission under the TEAMFIRE framework. My work sits at the intersection of ministry, technology, and discipleship.
For years, I have been the person in the room who digs into the original Greek and Hebrew, cross-references three commentaries before accepting a sermon illustration, and believes that how we study the Bible matters as much as what we study.
When AI Bible tools started appearing, I got excited — and then concerned. Most of them wrap a language model in Scripture and call it good. But I have seen these tools fabricate quotes from scholars who never said those things, blend denominational positions without warning, and present AI-generated theology as if it were established commentary.
I built OpenLumin because I believe we can do better.
OpenLumin does not generate theology. It retrieves from real scholars — Matthew Henry, John Gill, Adam Clarke, and others who gave their lives to studying Scripture — and lets you discover the meaning yourself through guided, Socratic exercises. The AI is a research assistant. The scholars are the teachers. You are the student.
My vision is simple: every believer — from a curious teenager in Manila to a seminary student in Nairobi — should have access to the same quality of scholarly Bible study. No paywalls. No premium tiers. Just the Word, the scholars, and you.
A free Bible learning platform that connects every believer to real scholarly sources — not AI opinions.
